First year runner, Reillee Beeman (Frostburg, MD; Mountain Ridge HS) was the lone Garrett College runner competing at the Mountie Invitational hosted by Mount Aloysius College.

Beeman demonstrated her rapidly improving racing ability dropping over 6:40 from her early season time to establish season and personal best results – 30:19 over the 5k course.

Pitt Greensburg ran the only complete women's team. The race that featured runners from the NCAA DI, DIII and NJCAA DII, DIII was won by Sidney McCully (22:55) of Pitt-Greensburg.
