The Garrett College Wrestling team competed against Lackawanna College and Niagara County Community College on March 12th in Scranton, PA. Garrett College dominated the matches against Lackawanna College and went match for match against Niagara, a perennial top 20 NJCAA program in the country. The Lakers had five wrestlers finish the day 2-0 in their respective weight classes. Armon Nettey (Silver Spring, MD), Brady Villa (Saxton, PA), Craig Erwin (Annapolis, MD), Noah Korenoski (Johnstown, PA), and Damon Lemin (Six Mile Run, PA).
The Lakers had three wrestlers split their two matches with Trey Weinell (New Alexandria, PA), Blake Reynolds (Damascus, MD), and Connor Saladin (Annapolis, MD) finishing 1-1 on the day. No team scores were kept and match results can be found on www.trackwrestling.com.
