Andrew Catone enters his 6th season as the pitching coach for the Lakers.
Prior to joining the Lakers, he was the head junior varsity coach and varsity assistant coach for 2 years at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also the head 14u coach for the Rip City Baseball travel team for one year, and worked in the Jacksonville Juice travel organization for 3 years with the 18u and 12u teams.
Andrew pitched at Hood College from 2015-2018, joining the program in their first year, recording the first save and first conference victory in program history. He helped lead the team to the MAC Commonwealth Championship game in the 4th year of existence.
He received Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Criminal Justice from Hood College (2018) and a Masters degree in History from Liberty University (2023).
